 1. vgextend - This is used to increase space of volume group

vgextend < vg name > < pv name>
2. lvextend - This is used to increase space of logical volume
lvextend -L < Exact size or Append Size > < Path of lv >
NOTE :- You can't Give small value of Size and Give value in minus
3.lvreduce - This is used to Decrease space of logical volume
lvreduce -L < size > < Path of lv>
4. lvresize - This is used to Decrease , Increase space of logical volume. You Can set Exact Space of a lv too.
resize -L < size > < Path of lv >
5. ( -r ) - It is Used to Adapt FileSystem of its VG
6. resize2fs (ext4) - To Make FileSystem .
resize2fs < lv path >
7. xfs_growfs - For XFS File System
xfs_growfs < mountpoint >

 1. vgcreate - To set Physical Extend while Creating VG

vgcreate -s < size in MB > < name of vg > < pv's name >
2. vgremove - To Remove a Particular VG
vgremove < vg's name >
3. vgrename - To set a new name of a particular vg
vgrename < vg's old name > < new name >
4. lvcreate (Logical Volume) - To Create Logical Volume
lvcreate -L < size > -n < name of lv > < vg name>
5. lvs - This Show all Logical Volumes
6. lvremove- Use to Remove or delete Logical Volume
lvremove < Path of LV >
7. pvremove- Use to Remove or delete Physical Volume
pvremove < Path of Physical Volume >
8. lvdisplay - Show all Logical Volume
lvdisplay < lv name or leave it Blank >

1. pv ( Physical Volume) - To Create Physical Volume
pvcreate <partition name> <partition name>
2. pvs - This Show all pv's occupied space & free space
pvs
3. pvdisplay - This Display's all Information related to pv
pvdisplay <partition name>
pvdisplay- to show all pv's information
4. vg ( Volume Group ) - To Create Volume Group
vgcreate < vgname > < pv's name>
vgcreate -s < size >
5 . PE - Physical Extend
6. vgs ( Volume groups ) - This Shows all Volume Groups
